I'm a local garden writer and published author. I am currently working on a book about gardening in small and challenging urban spaces, including rooftops.

When I hear of the Edmonton Food Bank and YYC staff/youth working together for a good cause, it creates a sensation of pride to be part of a community that supports challenged youth to learn new ways to give back to the larger community.
